Any Named Time, Perfected
How many clever electronic "Any Named Time" wrist watches have you bought, and how much money have you spent? Personally, I'm more than a little embarrassed to say, especially because for one reason or another, I've never actually used them professionally.
What if you could present the "Any Named Time" effect with nothing more than an ordinary watch?
I thought that might get your attention. Here's what a typical presentation of A M's Any Time looks like:
You ask your participant to freely name a number from 1 to 12, followed by a number from 1 to 60, creating a completely random time.
You place an ordinary analogue watch face-down in their hand, pull out the crown, and let them spin it themselves for as long as they want. Whenever their intuition tells them to stop, they stop and push the crown back in.
They turn over the watch.
Despite having freely named the numbers and freely spun the crown themselves, the watch has landed near perfectly on their chosen time.
